Still over a week out here in PA and I've been grinding making mouth yelpers in preparation for the season. Made this one that will be in my vest come the 28th and figured I'd recommend it for you guys to give a try.

Blue .003 over 2 Blue Proph stretched to .170 on a hand jig.

Great all around call that can rip out hard cuts but also soft yelp easily. Give it a shot and let me know what you guys think!

I build a very similar call with .004 orange over 2 blue proph stretched to .100 on a feather ridge press. Very forgiving and sharp yelps and cuts.  One of my favorites

Can I ask what cut you are putting in this call ?

I like a reverse combo cut in mine or a V cut with the wings on either side clipped a bit.

Where are you guts getting your blue and orange latex from? Is it from Mitchell Johnson?

Yes. At least that is where I get mine. He has got some pretty off the wall stuff as well give him a call!

I know this is an older post but I tried this stretch with a .003 black over two reeds of proph  and it sounds awesome. Just started making calls last year and had struggled finding a good stretch with proph but this was a home run!

That's what this place is for! I made so many bad calls for so long, I just about quit. I finally figured it out with some guys around this forum. It can be really discouraging.

Hopefully you'll yelp one up with that unit this Spring!
