Who's taking a youth out tomorrow in NY?

I'm taking a father and his two sons tomorrow morning. I have several birds located and hopefully they want to play.

Good luck and keep us posted! Make sure you guys bundle up it'll be a cold one. Dont get too discouraged if they dont gobble much, theyve been pretty hit or miss in my neck of the woods gobbling during this recent cold snap.  My nephew left for vacation in myrtle beach today so unfortunately ill just be listening and looking this weekend.

Just found out a friends son got one 8 3/4 inch beard, 20 pounds 3 ounces

I took a father and two sons this morning. One got his bird last season so the older brother was to take first shot today. We worked a henned up bird first thing to no avail. 
Went to new location got one gobbling at 11 am and he showed with about 7 minutes of legal shooting time left (can only hunt till 12pm in NY).  I saw him coming in silient and hissed at my youth hunter to get ready. He was daydreaming and not paying attention. Bird hadn't gobbled in a while so he thought the hunt was "over".  He didn't have his gloves on and was moving to see the bird and it was over at about 70 yards.  It was a good lessons for him to learn.

Always have gloves and facemask. (he was wearing facemask)
Keep gun up and don't mo
Never look for the whole bird...often it's just his head.
When the bird stops gobbling good chance he is on the move so be still with gun up.

I hope to move our set up for tomorrow morning and hopefully get the one we started with this morning.

Well at 7:26am this morning Jack got it done with a 9.5" beard 1 1/8" spurs beauty.  I set the DSD 3/4 strut Jake over the Submissive Hen and the upright hen in a opening.  Had 3 longbeards come running in to join the party and one got flattened.  I'm not sure who was more excited the youth hunter, his brother, his father, or me.  It was a great second morning for our 2 day youth hunt. I got a chance to run all my calls over the past two days so that was a great precursor to my upcoming South Dakota Merriams hunt with my Dad to complete his life goal of a Grand Slam.
