The James River NWTF Chapter in Bedford, VA will be hosting it's 6th annual Wheelin' Sportsmen spring turkey hunt this Saturday 4/23. We have 10 physically challenged hunters from around the State coming in to participate.
Wish us Good Weather, Good Gobblin' & Good Luck.
Hope to have a good follow-up post Sunday.

That's awesome for you to participate in that, Barry.

Good luck, hope each of them get the bird they are looking for.

Thats awesome.  A friend of my brother-in-law participated in that 2-3 yrs. ago.  Darrell Meador was his name, he didn't kill anything but was tickled to be able to get out and hunt again, has MS I believe.  That is a great thing you do for these folks.

Thats great.. I helped some guys here in Florida do a wheeling for gobblers a few weeks ago.  There were two birds taken and alot of smiling faces.. Keep up the great work..

He's going with us again. On that particular hunt he had a bird come up behind his blind spittin' & drummin'. Bout tore ole Darryls nerves up as he had never heard one do that before. Gonna do all we can to get him and these other guys a chance at one.
