I've not even made it to the first page of the book but upon opening the cover turkey feather falls out with a note on it that says "I hope this Wild Turkey feather brings you success this season-Tom Kelly".  Just had to share it as I thought that was the coolest thing ever! Phone won't let me post a pic for some reason

I got the same thing a few years ago.  I keep it in the band of my hunting hat.

FYI if you sign up for the Tom Kelly news letter email you'll see there asking for people to mail them  turkey feathers to put in the books. I hope you don't think Tom actually put a feather from
one of his turkeys in each book.

No never really thought about whose feather it was. Just thought it was something different and clever
