With so many blinds being used what are you all treating blinds with and using on seams to help prevent water from coming in...while some are better some just get wear and tear and start to drip water.  Just interested in what everyone is doing to help with H2O.  I myself can not stand the heat of the DB blinds in spring and am tired of the blinds failing in several aspects.  I have been impressed witht the primos vision blinds and you can get them shipped to your door for about 130.00.

I dont use a blind often, usually with a new hunter or a kid or on really rainy days.I have a DB and a older primos, and the primos serves me well, especially when cost comparision is figured in.As far as totally waterproofing one i'm not sure it can be done.mine drip a little in a real heavy rain around the roof seams(primos),but its not so bad it runs you out cuz youre soakin wet.id say this blind is 4-5 yrs old and has been used 15-20 times and is usually left out for several weeks at a time, and rain leakin hasnt become a real problem yet.you may try spraing it with some camp dry aerosol,it s the stuff used for camping equipment.

Camp Dry seems to really help.  It improves waterproofing and helps keep the camo from fading.

Camp Dry will make the camo a little darker but it doesn't seem to bother anything.

Why don't they make a litle cover that straps on like on the tops of tents to keep rain out.  It wouldn't take up any space in the blind's bag and wouldn't have seams to leak.
