Tristar cobra II yoth 20 gauge questions

I have ordered a tristar Cobra II 20 gauge, 24" barrel for my boy who is 8.  What berretta mobil choke would you recommend and what ammo combo would you recommend?  I am wanting a good combo that keeps a goo pattern out to 40 yards but easier on the shoulder recoil.. Thanks in advance!!
