Got that vest in yet? Just curious about it

I just ordered the rng 200.  After getting hands on the new nomad vest today at my local field and stream, I opted for this one.   The pockets in that nomad are so shallow!

Just received my new Knight and Hale R n G 300 vest today and have to say I'm liking it.  I think the biggest diference between the 200 and 300 is the 300 has two deep chest pockets and two lower zippered pockets the 200 dosn't have. It also has a waterproof zippered pouch on lower right side with extra shell holders. The rear back pack holds 375 ci with holders inside for small items or maps. Its very light and very adjustable and looks well made.

Just got my 200 in the mail yesterday. It's very lightweight and I really like how the seat works. The back holds my water bladder and has more room for other items. I think for someone who wants to have something lightweight and made for on the go this is the vest for them.

I picked up a 300 at the convention. It is the best lay out  that I have seen especially in a small/light weight vest that I have seen. I started to put some stuff in it the other day and I think I am really going to like it.

First time here.
I picked up the 300 and really like it.  Don't know about durability yet.  I'm 6'3"/300 pounds and at first, thought it was too small for my frame.  Once I adjusted it and took it for a stroll, found that it fit great.  I like how I don't feel like an overstuffed turtle wearing it.
It holds all of the stuff that my previous vests had in them. 2 pots outside, 1 in the interior pocket (has a pocket inside for that), box call, mouth call, shears, compass, hydration bladder, tp, etc...  On top of the exterior shell holders, it has interior shell holders on the right exterior pocket above the waterproof cell pocket.
I used the decoy stringer to attach a decoy bag to (didn't like the thought of decoys being out and possibly falling off walking)----the thing has elastic cord and I attach it to the collar. This allows me to easily reach around and move it to the front to access the bag and deploy.

I have the 200 and its loaded. It will not hold all the stuff that was in my super elite but that was the point in downsizing. I did consider sending back for the 300 to fit the rest of my stuff. Think I will keep the 200 for now.

It will make you go lighter if thats what your wanting. The vest fit and seat are great.

Has anyone tried the 200 on with a binocular hub harness on. Looks like it comes in pretty high and tight on the chest and wondering if it will interfere with my bino hub I wear.

I got the rocker last year, test has everything the kitchen sink and the garage. seat is awesome but durability stunk already needs so repairs

Its great for all day hunts but I thought about getting the 200 here for a before work hunt vest. Generally my pre work hunts are race 1-2miles on public before light hunt fly down and the first hour then race back out. A steamlined vest would be pretty slick for those hunts I don't need much on.

Thanks for bringing this vest to my attention. Somehow I missed this one. I've been largely disappointed in every vest I've ever looked at. This has some features I've been wanting. I've been running a Super Elite for many years and it's hot. I also wear a Camelbak underneath it, makes it even hotter. For those who have one, has anybody put it in the woods yet. Seems like lightweight almost always sacrifices some durability. I bust through a lot of briers and thickets going from one ridge to the next. It's not unusual to rip something but my old vest held up pretty good for the first few years. This maybe what I'm sporting this spring. I'll have to say I'm also curious about the seat, if flipped up is it tight enough it doesn't flop and make noise?
