Sometimes I get tired of working shift work and 2 weekends out of every five, but it does have it's advantages at times. Lot of time off and vacation and no one to complain about the racket that I make practicing. Our plant sits on a 1000 acres of unhunted property, so some of my practicing occurs on live gobblers. This time of year, it's common to see several gobblers throughout the day on security cameras and at daylight, they will usually be gobbling their heads off.

Here were today's practice calls, had several more in my truck, but wanted to use my new Buice trumpets and a new ceramic call from Spring Allure Calls. Ricky makes a great call!

Looks like some nice calls to help pass the time

I have many friends that work shift schedules and do the same thing. Have fun and be safe!

That is a buckeye burl that my daughter, she was 8 at the time, picked out for me for Fathers Day a few years back. Billy remembered her and my wife coming up there and picking it out, she thought it looked like it was camo and that is why she picked it out. He told me he hasn't made many of them. This one is #2
