I'm not comparing call makers, their both great IMO. Is there much of a difference in a Blackstone green slate and the Mac green slate both in a walnut pot?

You would be hard pressed to find a better sounding slate than Dustin's green slate. JMHO

Get the blackstone in cherry...and mac in walnut

Never played either one but on their reputation I'd buy either without a doubt. Most of the time when you compare great makers with the same pot (wood, surface, and soundboard) you will have slight differences in sound because everyone does stuff a little different. To say who is better is a Chevy vs Ford argument. Both will be outstanding. One may have a little more rasp than the other, or one may break quicker than the other. Whatever. It's more of the hunters ear preference. Buy either or both with confidence. I'll bet my bottom dollar both will put meat on your table.

I have both and if you want a file to compare them I will send you one.

I have one from Blackstone on the way and I wanted to order a few calls from Mac. I don't want to order another walnut if there very similar. I might just grab an aluminum from Mac.

I played the calls he had at the Mountain State contest during the WV state banquet....his aluminum there was really, really good.  If you don't have an aluminum surface call yet I would grab one for sure.  Heck, even if you already have an aluminum surface pot I would get one of Mark's.
