Dixon vest

I was thinking the Dixion vest might actually go down in demand and price with the new Nomad  vest being very close and a lot cheaper and easier to find I guess it will depend on the quality of the Nomad. I had a Dixion and it was made to last just way to heavy for me and the miles I walk.

I to wish i would have picked up a dixon at the time. I've got a limbhanger that i love and couldn't part with. Hopefully the nomad will turn out to be a good alternative. Gonna pick one up as a back up.

After the Facebook Dixon sold for $750 somebody came right in with another one for $650 and it was missing the box call holder.

Far as that goes, I wish they'd made the Limbhanger longer.  I should have bought more than the one I've got. I love the fit & function of that vest.

I still have a Spartan (pre-Realtree) vest that has button closures on the pockets and has one of the thinnest, next to nothing butt pads ever attached to a vest. I can't remember what year I bought it, maybe 1990 or 1991?  It definitely saw a bunch of gobblers bite the dust before I upgraded to a different make around 1999.

I just wish they would build a vest like the Dixon Vest with the Quaker claw slings for straps like the Dixon, if they had one i would own another vest for sure...

The main reason I quit hunting with my Dixon vest was the Claw straps. They grab and bind you're movement when sitting down. I've been using the Limbhanger for years now.
