Remington 870 20ga youth question

Just picked up 870 youth at local Wally World. I want to increase LOP by using the spacers provided. The problem I am having getting the screws out of the rubber pad. I tried liquid soap the head on the screws are to large to back out. I know it has to be an easier way to do this. Would appreciate any help.

What i use was a phillips screwdriver that was bigger than the hole, what it did was stretch the hole on the rubber pad..screws came right out....

I tried that screw would not back out just turned inside the pad

That's good , what did you end up doing stretch the hole with the punch ?

Run the punch through the opposite end and pushed them out
