I have hunted turkey out of pop up blinds before but have recently been leavng my mesh windows in it due to some that hunt with me being a lil antsy. My question is do you think if I shot through the mesh screen, would it change my pattern?

I think you are NOT supposed to shoot a gun through the mesh, it can catch fire!  I would read the manufacturers warnings before shooting a firearm through the mesh.

Ditto!

Depending on the blind you have, you might consider setting up decoys to one side of the blind.  Position yourself so you can shoot through an open window (if your blind has multiples on each side) and leave mesh covering on the other windows to help conceal movement.  This will limit your shooting angles/opportunities, but may be something to consider.  Don't take a chance on torching the blind.  :o

DO NOT SHOOT YOUR GUN THROUGH YOUR MESH!!!

Mesh is made to shoot broad heads through.  I leave every thing closed except where i plan to shoot, just the front side.  Everything else is dark and helps to hid movement.

What blind do you have?

I have the Ameristep G-30 hub blind I dont think they make them anymore. You used to be able to get them at wally world for $110 but aint seen em in a while and thanks guys I hadnt even thought bout catching fire.

Just peel open a corner of each mesh window to stick your gun barrel thru.  That way, the mesh still hides you, but your muzzle is outside the blind.

I know a few people who have shot through the mess without causing a fire. That would deffently add a thrill to a gun hunt.
When I turkey hunt I use a DSD decoy

I use blinds  alot with clients and will even sometimes cut a hole in the center of the mesh so the gun barrel can be stuck through it at time to fire.  This still gives you concealment and still shoot out center of window.

I too have cut a small slit in the mesh to get the gun out.
