I'm still looking for my favorite. Some days it's this one, some days it's that one.
However, I can say my old Lynch Foolproof box call always rides along with me.
When all is quiet, I usually can get at least a courtesy gobble, from it, to let me know they are there.

Enticer Silver Thunder Extreme Aluminum. This is the only pot that had a permanent spot in my vest this season.

This is a good one.  Can play loud on aluminum surface or soft call on back of pot.  Plus, this call runs great when wet too.

I really feel a quality 2 sided call is the way to go as of late. Crystal over slate with a few good strikers for different sounds. Lugging along 5 pot calls isn't up my alley and can even be a little confusing out in the woods. I like confidence when I pull out a call from my bag.
The simpler the better......
Good luck!

I would say for the buck is a Sinclair titanium.

I have to agree !! I own three 3.5" and two 3.25" titanium over slate calls. My go to calls  :icon_thumright:

Double B

Enticer if bang for the buck is the key.  Particularly the rectangular walnut aluminum Double Trouble for $15.95.   A great sounding call for an old school price.  Even if you go with his 3.5" calls they are like $35.  You can spend more but they are hard to beat.

I was going through my pots the other day (post season reorganization) and picked up a H.S. Strut Zombie Green (can't remember the name) and I will say it makes some amazing high quality yelps and cuts...I don't remember thinking that highly of it when I bought it on sale from Wally.

AGREED on the Sinclair 3.25 Stainless Bocote.  Worth more than I paid for it.   :icon_thumright:

Also agree with Enticer calls. I own several of Al's calls and they are top notch sound wise with my favorite being the "Timeless Thunder" glass call made from very old recovered old growth hardwoods.
