Got home from a 4 day hunt/fish trip on Tuesday. While hunting on the lake I had called a tom off a private field and then missed him at 10 yards. So when I got home and pulled into the driveway I saw this bird in one of the hay fields so I parked and got my gun and camo and went after em.

It has been the toughest season I've ever had since I started 6 yrs ago. Birds won't cooperate or even talk most days.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
