Believe it or not, these pics were taken with an iPhone. I have a nice dslr but had forgotten it at the house that morning so had to settle for the iPhone. We just had incredible lighting that morning and that made all the difference

Tell ya what a man will EARN them in WV, especially if you're in the southern MTN's area Logan Co.  Great bird and remarkable photo's, someone knows what they are doing with a camera and understand lighting angles, just fabulous!

Oh yes!!!!  Those southern coal fields are unforgiving man, very tough hunting! I am in kanawha county so still some serious mountains but nothing like down there. There is nothing like a thunderous gobble in these mountains, that is a fact!
