So I'm an 835 guy and my dad shoots a 935 with a 26" barrel. I saw that Mossberg had their 22" 935 barrels on sale so I was seriously debating getting one for dad. But, the camo was different, and I wondered if the 4" difference was worth it. In the end, I found a lightly used 935 grand slam for a great price and decided to sell my 835 to help cover the cost. I smoked a turkey last week and love the 22" barrel. I was changing positions a lot in hardwoods and that barrel is the ticket. Love the gun, very glad I upgraded to the 935, and even more happy that I got the grand slam version. I'm not a duck hunter so it's a dedicated turkey getter. Me and dad use our guns interchangeably so it's a win-win for both of us. I added a beard buster fiber optic ghost ring, claw sling, Indian creek choke, throwing federal grand slam 3 inch #5, and I have finally found my dream turkey gun.
