Just curious, does anyone here hunt with one of Woodhavens Real Hen box calls? I understand this board is very custom call oriented, and I realize Woodhaven is not a true custom call in that sense of the word. However everything I've ever seen Woodhaven produce has been extremely high quality. I've been a fan of their mouth calls for a long time. Also, sometimes custom is not all it's cracked up to be. I have a box that cost me over 200 dollars that birds rarely gobble at, but I've had an old Lynch World Champion that would set them on fire day after day. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I've listened to some sound clips of the woodhaven boxes and they sound excellent. Just looking for feedback from those who have used them on live gobblers. Thanks

I have a Real Hen walnut it's a decent call. I have a Real Hen cedar purpleheart it sings it has several turkeys that live inside it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. They will kill turkeys. As far as a prodution box , that lynch is hard to beat. As a matter of fact i have a truckload of custom box calls and ran across a cody holio that i had put up sometime ago. After running it all day i put it in my vest and pulled a custom box out. You never know.

I have not seen or heard one.  But see no reason it wouldn't be a great box.  I forced my uncle  (my main hunting partner and of the old school type ?) onto a WH mouth call last season.  Had his best season in 30 years.  They make a quality product, do it!

I run the real hen cherry and love it. It's not fancy but has a home in my vest. It's a pretty easy call to run.
