You say you almost always know about a coyote before they know about you. Lol. You would probably be surprised how many know about you that you never know were there!  I'm not saying they kill a ton of turkeys, but they do get some.

That is probably very true. Probably a lot more coyotes have been close to me then I knew about.

Coyote can very easily eat a whole turkey. Have seen mny times where 3-5 ate a whole deer in hours.
