If I can manage to get as close to the longbeards as I have scouting so far it should be a successful season.  I've heard about 6-8 birds this year so far, all gobbling on the ground.  Today I had one about 100 yds from the truck over a rise just tearing it up.  On saturday there was a bird letting loose at 10:30 am!!!!

Now I am at the point where I am trying to figure out which one to go after.  I think there is one bird who most likely will be driven by on opening morning and I plan to go after him.  It's hard to leave the others alone, but I just feel like there is a better chance of not being interfered with.  After the weekenders leave, I'll get after the others.

Pig Sooieee!!!!
