I'm setting up an M2 20ga for my son. Looking for the correct base to mount the fast fire directly to the base as opposed to a weaver or pic rail.
Is Burris part number 410333 the mount plate I am looking for? It's the Marlin 336 base and I'll have the gun drilled and tapped by my gunsmith.
The online descriptions are a little confusing as it makes it sound like it is a picatinny base but I'm thinking this is a direct mount plate. And I can then order the fast fire with no mount
Please correct me if I am wrong. Too bad Burris doesn't have a speed bead for these guns yet (though they say they are on the way)
Will be shooting either nitro "little man" 7s, nitro full house loads or longbeards
