shot gun pattern question!

Most times when a turkey is missed the shooter shot too high. I would rather pick a few shot out of breast and aim a little lower.

My brother lives in a city where it's not easy to shoot your gun. I had him bring his gun to my farm to pattern it because he missed his last 4 birds. Sure enough he was shooting  almost 20" high. What a costly mistake. I check my groups out every year and want my sights right on. The last thing you want is to have to think about where to aim your gun during the battle.

Ouch. Its for that reason I shoot before every season and if I feel I beat my gun to hard on a hunt I will shoot a bird load just to make sure I didnt knock the sights off.

Dead on.  My current setup is my first ring sight and it is pumpkin on a post.  I just aim right here.


This is at 15 yards.  I wanted to be sure it was on up close as well.

I shoot optics so I like mine to be dead on.
