Picking up this gun tomorrow and wondering if anyone is shooting the Longbeard 3" in #5 shot and can recommend a good choke.

Thanks, Mike

Hey Mike,

Here's a very good one I can recommend with the #5 shot WLB shells https://allaboutshooting.com/products/hevi-13-turkey-choke-rem-choke-12-gauge-336 in the 870. They are delivering excellent, dense patterns in that gun.

Thanks,
Clark

ORIGINAL JellyHead .660 or .665 -  The .665 would probably be the best bet.

My max gobbler with the .665 JH shoots 3' 5's really well. It's my backup to my sa-459 20!

Anyone tried the Carlson's Longbeard choke with those shells?

You will have a choke that will shoot any number of shells. The new JH chokes are not what they were sadly to say.
