Wear and tear is when I replace mine. I just got some predator stuff for deer in the fall. My turkey stuff is about 7 years old. Crotch is ripped in the pants, but it's just ac on those warm days. Lol.

I usually keep mine until I'm afraid I'll get arrested in public for indecent exposure.   Once they get to that point I dispose of them properly.  If they have served me well I'll burn them and spread their ashes on my turkey property.   I once had a pair of gloves that Were very good to me.  I used them until each glove had about 15 finger holes.   That hurt when I had to finally retire them.   Had to put a hat down a few years ago as well.  It took me about five seasons to find a suitable replacement.   But now I have grown quite fond of my current turkey lid.

Until it's worn out.  Usually It it doesn't fit anymore before it gets to that point though.

I'll be honest I'm always buying and selling new camo, for turkey hunting I love my first lite kanab pants though they really cover the temp swings you get in the north east when its 30 degrees at 5am and 65 and sunny by 11

No it was not a typo!..... just kidding. What I should have said was every turkey that I have ever killed was killed  while I was wearing it.  Glad y'all enjoyed one of my many errors. My wife usually finds them quite amusing also.

I buy as needed of if I can find a good deal on something.  I still have a set of original TreeBark from the early 1980s (retired) that I colored with sharpie markers when it faded to extend their life.  No telling how many camo gloves and headnets I've lost...dozens for sure.  I've lost a few of those gun rests that go around your knee.  I always have a backups ready, no matter what it is.  If a buddy forgets or loses something, I've always got a spare.
