Stick on sight

In my turkey stuff I  found a front and rear sight that sticks onto the vent rib.  I guess its a tru glo (maybe came with a choke??)...anyway...very low profile. 

2 questions

1) opinion on these type of sights?

2) what can I use to replace the sticky stuff as I am not sure that its gonna hold!

I wouldn't trust anything that needs "sticky stuff" to hold it to my gun.

I felt the same way as others about "stick on" sights until I tried them. I cleaned the rib very thoroughly with alcohol and then held each one in place with thumb/finger pressure for a few seconds, maybe 20-30. I was very surprised by how durable they were. I put them on a gun that I shoot fairly regularly about a year ago and they're still tight.
I've always been skeptical about anything that just sticks on but so far these sights have worked much better than I expected.

I'm just not a fan of stick on sights, i think i can spend a little more and get a good sight...But if that's what you want that's fine ...

I wouldn't trust em either. The reason for sights is to adjust poi. How can you do that if you stick em on n go? They also can't be changed for dif loads

These are low profile.  The gun shoots good without them but I just wanted something a little more visible to keep my head down.

I use the same on my backup gun... Been there for 8 years no issues. Even used my turkey gun for dove hunting and shot 100's of rounds with it through thick brush and all. Like Clark said, I rubbed both surfaces with rubbing alcohol real good. Let it sit for 10 minutes to be safe, then used automotive double sided tape... It's the grey tape with red plastic backing, and stuck it on. It's is designed for all weather use and did the job nicely 8 years ago.
