The guy from KY Gun Co in his video was aiming using the bead and viewing it over the included rail. The Savage website says it works with Tru Glo sights, whatever that means.

Saw on Facebook supposedly that If rail is removed the tru glo rear site was designed to fit  on the welded part or spot
