Just got these awesome Russell Moccasin Imperials and realized I have a boot fetish and do not need them! While on the surface they don't look any different than the boots your Grandpa or Dad wore many years ago, they are in fact awesome! These are custom-made in Wisconsin, and this particular pair has the coveted French Veal leather, which is super-nice right now, so it should only get better with use/wear. Speaking of wear, I've only worn these boots 3 times (just in the office, so no dirt or damage). Boot specs below:
I'm a 12.5 E on a Brannock Device, so judge your sizing based on that. The boots are marked 11.5 E, but that is for Russell to know what size soles, etc. should be used if/when the boots come in for repair. When buying ready-made shoes/boots from Russell they suggest buying a ½ size down, but these are just right for me. I wear 12-13 in other shoes for reference – 12E in Allen Edmonds, 12D in Wolverine 1K and Redwing Heritage, 12E in White's, 13 in Nike/Adidas. While there are always exceptions (I wear a 13 in Redwing Heritage Chukkas and a 13 in Wolverine 1K Austin Boots), this is a pretty good reference.

Boots are unlined, no insulation and no pull strap as an option.
