Wondering if anyone has tried LB #4's with the (stock) choke that come with the Mossberg 935 turkey? Thinking they would pattern better with a choke with less constriction.

Do a search, when LB's came out some guys patterned the 4's. They put up good patterns, just don't remember what chokes were used.

That choke does an even pattern of 145 with 3 inch for me.

Seems like I remember that mine did in the mid 150's, still really hot-cored though, not as even as I hoped.

I tested the 4's in a non-ported 835 with the factory choke and got solid 130's, switched over to the original star dot and it jumped into the upper 150's with an unusually nice even 10 and 20 inch pattern. Those 4's are nothing to sneeze at!
