Curious to hear how many of you are running sights on your 20 gauge Affinity...if you are what sights are you using, scopes as well. Thanks.

I have a FastFire III on mine. Wouldn't think of changing.

After running thru all options over the years... scope, fastfire, beads, and rifle sights... I would say that if all possible I would stick with a single fiber optic bead. So much faster and less to worry with in the woods. If the gun doesn't shoot POA, then I would strongly recommend the FF3 type reflex sights.

A bead can be hard to see in dim light. Fiber optic depends on you being able to focus clearly on the turkey's neck, front bead and rear sight. I've just about lost the ability to do that with eye glasses. So the red dot is the next best sight for me and most accurate. But Iam not a fan of batteries. Cluck

I'd prefer the bead only if possible, how many issues with POI/POA have you had with the Affinity's?

Found a short rib mount on EBAY and mounted it and a Mueller Quick Shot on my 20 gauge Affinity. Love it!

Me, old school, prefer a plain bead or fiber optic bead, K.I.S.S, works for me.

I have no problem seeing a bead or post, rear leaf, and turkey head. Only problem I have is that I can see only two of the above at once. It was either shoot and miss or get a red dot.
With the fastifre series, the batteries will last several seasons of heavy use, but there is nothing to prevent annual replacement. Battery life is a non-issue in mid-level to high level systems. I consider the FF mid level. High level would include the RMR by Trijicon. No batteries required as it uses a tritium lamp and lots of fiber optics. The Reflex series by Trijicon is larger than the RMR which is FF sized. Fiber optics alone requires some ambient light to be visible and I have been in situations of fly down in the almost dark where fiber optics were useless but I could see the turkeys (3 of them) and tell they were mature gobblers. That story didn't have a happy ending unless you were related to the turkeys. Gil

Y'all drilling and tapping those Affinitys? I don't think mine is drilled and tapped.

Plain bead..I run a carlson .575 and heavy weight 7's. Nice uniform pattern. Not my best pattern for #'s inside a 10 but a true even hunting pattern.
I would like to try a sumtoy and see how it does.
