Just got an email from MidwayUSA,  they have their Alps Grandslam turkey vests for $79.99.  Last year I paid a lot more than that for the one I bought.  It is a great vest with lots of compartments.  I know there are other good vests out there but this vest normally runs around $150.  And no, I am not employed by MidwayUSA,  however; I am always looking for a good deal.

Looks like they have one in Bottomland this year as well, but not for $80.00. Also, noticed on this video they have a new super elite vest coming out.

Take a look at the video (Mossy Oak Live at ATA 2017 - Alps OutdoorZ Turkey Vests)

How comfortable is the frame/kickstand/seat cushion??

I carry a gobbler lounger chair with me but this vest looks like I could eliminate carrying that around with me.

I really like the kick stand feature that is built in.  It is comfortable also.  too many pockets for your stuff,  I keep forgetting where I put stuff

Thanks for the heads up , i have been wanting to try a kickstand vest but did not want to pay an arm and a leg for it. For $80 it fits the bill. Lee

I ordered one from Midway USA and received it yesterday. It's a sweet vest at a very good price.

I have been thinking about getting this vest. Would like to try a kickstand vest so I dont have to carry a chair around everywhere. For those of you that have this vest how long do you think you could sit in it? Also does the kick stand add alot of weight to the vest. My last question is, how comfortable is it without  using the legs? Dont want them to be sticking me in the back while not using them and sitting against a tree. Thanks

I have only used this vest for one year.  In the south I never have a problem locating a tree to sit with my back too.  Having said that the kick stand does not get in the way.  The seat  is comfortable and the longest I have sat in one spot is about one hour.  I would rate this vest a 9 out of a 10 and give it a 5 star rating.
