Is there a best way to carry decoy stakes without poking holes in vest game bag.

Bowguy

Behind the ear looks cool. Just kiddin some vests have vertical holders in the game bag area. If you're worried bout holes you could also put them in a sack or wrap em in a towel first something I've never done. Some decoys (DSD) have holders right in the decoys. Hope that helps I've never really had a prob w it

How about a case made from PVC pipe with a glue-on cap on one end and a screw-on cap on the other?  I use a rig like this to carry my fishing rods when I head to Canada.  I also made a cloth pocket sleeve to hold the rods so that they don't rattle and scratch each other.  You could paint the whole thing camo colors. Many older bamboo fly rods came in cloth pocket sleeves. The same should work here.

That's a pretty good idea. To add to this I'd say to use plumbing pipe. It comes in dif thicknesses n end caps are readily available. Just be sure to scuff plastic up or use a plastic friendly paint or it'll flake off. Good idea though

Flambeau makes a decent one. it slides within itself. Makes carrying them much easier.

Mine just stow in the decoy body, depending on decoy and stake you might be able to rig up the same thing. You didn't mention what decoys you have, don't do this with a blow up decoy like Avian. I run DSD and it's in their design.

I bought a decoy bag from Midwest years ago. It comes with pockets to store the stakes.
