This is a bit off topic but I could use some help

I am hoping the knowledgable population here has some advice for me.

I was born and raised in NJ. The storefront that I have been renting for 5 1/2 years has been in for foreclosure and was recently purchased. The the new owners have decided they no longer want to use the building for the type of business I have so I received my 30 days notice and need to be out as of Jan 31. I am divorced with my only daughter off to college in the midwest This leaves me no ties to this state other than my friends and my favorite range. At the moment I am struggling to find the right rental property close to my clients and may need to relocate in Jersey far enough away from my regular clientele that it would almost be a business rebuild for me.  I feel this may be an opportunity to relocate somewhere more gun friendly with a more laid back lifestyle but I still want to be somewhere I can continue to hunt.

So here is where I hope you guys can help, My daughter is within 4 hours of the Tulsa area and I have a childhood friend in Rutherfordton NC. I prefer Oklahoma but if I can't find anything there I will go to NC.  Does anyone here have any advice on either of those two areas? Is it possible that anyone here might be a realtor that could help me find a home to rent in those areas? Or, is anyone here an employer that may be able to offer me a job in either of those areas? Hopefully with enough pay to keep my head above water until I get settled?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks

I can't help but can only say, good luck with whatever you choose and keep with the man upstairs. He'll help you out in your time of need.

Here's my $.02: I'm in the process of researching where I want to retire.  NC was high on my list until I looked at Tennessee.  As far as hunting, cost of living, climate and lifestyle, I think it's hard to beat.

Daughter in Tulsa.  I would think NE Oklahoma.  Hunt Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas.

I live in NE Oklahoma.  Low cost of living, Tulsa metro area has a good economy.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

I am glad to hear votes for eastern Oklahoma. That is my top choice. Now I just need to find myself a place to rent and a job there. I wish I was having better luck finding a new location for my business so I could stay put but I think Oklahoma is a better fit for me if I do relocate

Thanks for the input. It is greatly appreciated

What kind of business?  Most of the burbs around Tulsa are economically good.  Broken Arrow, Cowetta, Catoosa, Claremore, Sand Springs, and Sapulppa are growing.
