I think it's great the guy gets out and hunts while being handicapped,but it doesn't give him a free ticket to poach. He should fill his one tag and get out of there so other hunters who haven't filled there tags can have at it. Whenever he's able to hunt with his second tag come back and do the same again. If he has no luck hunt as much as he wants within the law.Then Congrats to the disabled hunter  see ya in the fall or next spring. It's not ok to set up camp and fill the back of his truck up with turkeys or the way it sounds even three. I'm sure the law doesn't say if your disabled hunt however and whenever you want and unlimited limit.

1iagobblergetter--your post was right on! I was going to let this post ride as I got ganged up on.  This guy probably has poached more then most and he hunts the Fall as well.  5-6 or more Spring gobblers taken each May is poaching in New York and that is what I was posting about. I also wrote that my own Brother in law is also a disabled turkey hunter and he also agrees with me.

This thread makes me want to drive to New York, buy a license, kill two gobblers off this public place and post about it on every possible public hunting forum. The only thing holding me back is not wanting to ruin it for everyone else that hunts the place. OP on the other hand, you need to get over it. It sounds like the guy can't even get out of the truck. If he's killing more than his limit, report him. But stop complaining about a handicapped guy hunting public land, and throwing accusations at the guy with zero credible evidence provided.

I once knew two brothers that said their brother was in WWII and was on a plane with Gen. Eisenhower. Plane got shot down, Eisenhower told them to bail out. Brother's shute didn't open. Brother said that was the hardest fall he'd ever taken!! Point being, these were two, or apparently 3, of the lyingest individuals you'd ever meet. Now you know no one have ever stretched the truth about hunting or fishing!!! Might be the case with this guy!!

  Yep.  I'm not to concerned with the people that sit in a truck in a field and says he's killed 6 or 7.   It's that little beady eyed fellow you see everywhere you look and he claims he ain't even heard one all year.  Then when he drives off all you see is turkey feathers blowing out the back of his truck.   That's the guy you don't want parked anywhere near you.
