Being from Illinois...been a cub fan for a long time....i hardly can believe that they have won the world series....i was really sweating it there for awhile...just AWESOME!!!!

You and me both. It was the best roller coaster ride I've ever been on. Probably the the greatest World Series ever played. I also grew up there a spent a lot of time in that ball park. If you were going to ever experience a ball game Wrigley Field should be on your bucket list. The best in the World. Now I must move on to the Blackhawks! Here we go again!!

I have been to Wrigley field probably a dozen times...awesome atmosphere when your there...not even close when your watching on tv....the 1st time I was there was years ago when our summer little league team won first place...Ken Holtzman pitched a no hitter...never forget it!

STL will be battling for the wildcard spot for years to come now. :z-guntootsmiley:

I saw Rick Reushel pitch his first game as a Cubbie not too long after Holtzman's no-no.  They finally did it!
