Lonzo Acrylic - which combo?

I have his black acrylic with aluminum surface and am looking to pickup a glass or crystal.  Any suggestions for glass vs crystal and also soundboard material?   I'm leaning towards glass over aluminum soundboard but really am not sure what combo will sound best.  Also, does it matter if I get clear acrylic or black acrylic?
