I've finally taken the time to edit a few hunts from last year (and one from 2015) that are now on the Gooserbat Youtube page.  We had a lot of fun last spring, I hope you all enjoy!

The first is little Gooserbat in 2015 showing that it is sometimes better to be lucky than good . . .

Next, is a friend of mine who got quite a show from a very excited Rio gobbler. This was only his second turkey and he got a little trigger happy!

Finally, this one is my friend and I doubling on some roughed up two year old Rios that did not appreciate the jake decoy.

I've got one more video to edit of Gooserbat himself on a very entertaining, somewhat unconventional public land hunt. Stay tuned!

Great job on the videos. Gets the blood flowing and missing spring!

Nice videos. Boy those two gobblers in the last video must have had a fighting season by the looks of their fans. Thx for sharing.

Thanks for sharing.  I really enjoyed them.  Its amazing how a bird on a windy can hardly be heard at a short distance.  Those last two birds looked beat for opening day.  Looking forward to the next video.

They were fighting hard, for sure.  The wind definitely plays a factor out there, but the other thing is that Rios just are not that loud.  The second bird I killed out there (not on video - crazy hunt) I watched gobble at a couple hundred yards be we never heard him. I was watching in the binoculars, calling, and watching him gobble! Even on calm days they are almost always closer than I think they are. Can't tell you how many times I've nearly busted birds because I thought they were 100 yards further away.
