Good Waterproof Boot

Looking for a good waterproof boot for my old man.  I got him a pair of Danner Pronghorn snake proof boots, and he was the 1st person that I knew that didn't love them. 

Were going to Idaho and Kansas again and need a good boot that he can hike around in all day while chasing birds.  Needs to be waterproof as well.

Any suggestions?

maybe you he would like a Danner Jackual 2 boot it is shorter in height and he may like them. What size of boot are them. Would he sell them?

I use Cabela's Duratrex rubber boots.  I walk the steep hills of WV without slipping and my knees and ankles have good support.

Well now he says he wants a little smaller size because they were to big
