Timney trigger spring/sear kit for 11-87?

Can anyone tell me if the sear that comes with the Timney trigger kit for 11-87/870 will reduce the creep of my 11-87 20 gauge trigger? I used the 3lb spring that came in my kit for my 870 and it reduced pull weight but creep is very noticable.

It would depend on the cause of the creep, but it did mine and I'm very happy with the results.  Well worth the money spent.

Put one of them in two of my 870s and it made a big difference. Went from around 7pounds to three now the trigger on my turkey gun is as light as my deer rifle and feels just as good. I don't think you will be let down as long as you take your time and tune it to your liking. Good luck
