I mark the lids and screws when I get the sound I like on all of my calls. Recently I Put together an all cedar box call and notice after playing awhile the screw moved from the desired positioned.  Is there something I can do to keep the screw in position.

I had the same problem with a few of my calls. I picked up some screws that were 1½ instead of 1¼ and I didn't predrill the extra depth. Seemed to fix mine. I still have both calls going to hang onto them for awhile to make sure or might even keep tgem for my own use. Now I use a smaller drill bit hasn't happened since.

In real soft wood like Cedar, unless you have a small hole drilled, the screw can easily move since it "widens" the holes easily.  Try making your screw hole smaller to start.  I always make mine hard to set the screw because they always seem to "loosen" up a bit over time during tuning.

there is an old trick to this, use some steel wool and place a wad in the hole then put your screw in place
