Nice bird

This is just a shot of the spurs of a bird that my buddy and i tried to kill last Saturday. They didn't gobble at all that day. He said that this bird didn't gobble for about 20 minutes after the other birds got started today and they were getting ready to make a move on another. About the time they got ready to relocate, he opened up. His hens flew down and left while he came to investigate the hen and strutter decoy.

I'm just glad that I found an easier way to post the pics from my phone. Now, if I ever kill a bird myself this year, it'll be much easier. Hahaha

That's the closest I've come to dead birds this year. Gotta look at them in the pictures. Lol. I'm going out to hopefully roost a bird this evening. Leaving in a minute or two. Hopefully all goes well and I've got one in the truck in the morning. We'll see I guess.
