NH youth hunt with my little girl!

So the biggest challenge I faced this morning was getting my 13 year old little girl up for her first turkey hunt!
I was pleased that she jumped right out of bed, and was ready to go!
So we went out and got in the blind.
At first light we had birds hammering all around us! Called a group of 9 jakes right to the gun, but no way she could shoot!
15 minutes later, a big tom showed up, and was coming, but saw a real hen, and took off.
Finally we had 4 more jakes show up, but they wouldn't separate enough for a shot!
She loves it! Still in the blind, and in hopes we can pull one in once the hens good to nest!
All in all a fantastic morning in the turkey woods!

Great stuff right there. I am also impressed my 13 year old daughter is ready and standing in kitchen in 2 minutes after alarm goes off at 3 am.   Sounds like a lot of memories happening in one day for you. Good luck, hope she tips one over.
