I believe in a personal theory I call the bubble. That is every gobbler has a zone or bubble that if you are inside of that bubble he will come to check out your calls. Now that bubble is not static and can vary do to environment, weather, presence of hens, time of year, and so on. I try to make sure I'm in the bubble before I set up to call and if not I move or I likely won't kill him.
NWTF Booth 1623
One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Good analogy Bat. I may need to have you on call to tell me where the bubble is on birds I hunt. Some days, I just can't seem to find it!
