Now here is a Texan's story
April 12, 2016, 05:30:49 PM
My son inlaw Scot who has been a God send since coming into our family, has been making pots now for a couple years, several here have one, and they are screamers...well he sold a couple to the gentleman who has something to do with the show Call of the Wild...and while in Texas he was running one of Scot's Maple pots (aluminum/glass) and walked out with these two fine specimens. Then he runs his purpleheart pot (same combo) for a friend and the next pic show the end results.................................
Yep, this boar was trying to root out some turkey eggs and I guess thought there was a hen close yelping over her nest or something any how they shot him at 30 feet away.....now that is a full service turkey caller!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats. Your call just doubled in its worth. It doubles as a hog call as well :-)

Now I realize there is some seriousness in the story but I lbought fell off the couch when I saw that pot and hog. Good stuff right there.
Genesis 1:26
Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

I once saw an european mount of a beaver skull. Some texican tried to pass it off as a TX squirrel. Now anytime a story involves TX I immediately think of that dead beaver.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
