First pot call ??

 Looking for my first pot call and looking for some recommendations .  I've been doing a little research and am considering the following .
David Halloran crystal mistress
David Halloran metal mouth
  Which would you recommend for a first timer ?? (or am I going over the top ? lol)

david halloran's double glass,if your wanting a glass type,it hardly gets the attention that his crystal calls does but it is a very good call,it sounds great and to me it would seem that it would be easier for someone new to pot calls to play and keep the surface conditioned for the best sound.its a very good call that runs easy and sounds great if your wanting a glass type call.but for a first call i would reccomend a slate call,his new wenge/walnut is a great one too.slates are very easy to take care of and are generally easier for someone new to run more consistantly imho.only down fall to slate is that on damp mornings they seem to draw moisture a little.these are just my opinions but youve picked a good call maker which ever one you choose.your def not going over the top,you will always be better off get a good quality call than a cheap one even if you have never even picked one up,they will be easier to learn to play and sound better than cheap wal mart type call any day! but if your really wanting one of the two you selected, crystal mistress all the way.i have all the above mentioned calls and like all of them,but that would be my suggestion for someone new to them.

There's tons of great calls around. Gotta start somewhere and the mistress is a pretty good place to start

Crystal Mistress is a proven killer. It's probably my favorite call and I've owned lots of custom calls. It is an excellent choice!

  Would anyone care to list a couple of dealers for Mr. Halloran's calls ??
I found one but shipping was crazy to Canada (I've had flyrods shipped to me for less lol) .
Also would any conditioning stone work for the Mistress (going with your recc's)
