Season opened in Kentucky didn't have much luck Saturday or Sunday. Came close, but the hens messed me up a little. Well today me and a buddy decided to lay out of school. I was up first, found a bird gobbling on his own about 8:30. Got with in 80 yards and started calling. He came in on a string and real quick. He came from my left,(not where I was planning on him coming) and was trying to cirlce us I had to shoot, when I turned he seen me and took off, I shot and missed. Off to try and find another one.
Its been a great morning though!
