I have a fan that's a couple years old. Mounted and I had originally used Borax to dry it. My question is I'm not real happy with the spread of the feathers. Is there a way I can soften the base so I
can respread it? Thank you, Chief

Think you can microwave it but not 100% sure on that

try soaking the base in hot water. All it is is really hard turkey jerky.

Soak it in water or use steam. Boil some water and work it over top of the steam.
