I spoke with pappy tonight and am in the business of purchasing a trumpet from him. I have never ran one before but looking forward to the challenge. I don't want to spend a whole lot so what I want to know is what you all think on the different woods or acrylic. I thought about just getting an entry level osage trumpet with a delrin mouthpiece what yall think?

THE ONLY DOWN SIDE OF A TRUMPET IS ,, FOR SOME REASON IVE BEEN BUSTED SEVERAL TIMES USING ONE ,, IS THEY COME IN REAL QUIET NOT MAKING A SOUND ..... THEY ARE REAL NICE ....

I have a Osage trumpet made by Pappy and it is a killer, but killing turkeys with a trumpet takes practice. Good Luck!!!
