Well I loaded the bird in my vest and head back across the creek and decided the check out a long rigde running toward the back of the property. As I was approaching the half way mark I stopped to listen and their was another bird gobbling right where I just came from. I couldn't believe it. Well I eased on out the ridge scouting and decided to get up on top and ease back toward the car and go to the house and figured what the heck. I popped in a mouth call and yelped a couple of times, nothing, so i yelped a couple more times with a couple cutts in the mix and got a response  bout 125 yards back toward the car. I waited and tried again and he was about 90 yards out coming toward me. I got the heck out of there in a hurry. Didn't want him to see me or come on in. What a great morning. May even go back in the morning with the boy and see if he can wrap his tag on that one.
