Spitten and drummen

I live in southwest ms. Our season starts March 15th. Went this morning and heard 4 on the limb. 2 hit the ground and gobbled off an on until 730. I slipped out and went by my camper. I was locking the door and one Gobbled twice 150 yards away across the highway. I am amped up.

Beautiful day here in central PA!  Temps are supposed to stay up in the 40's overnight. I have a feeling tomorrow morning will bring some gobbles!

With your best interest in mind, be careful of how much information you throw out there, lots of people on the internet. ;)

Not much worried about the info I'm putting out!  All us locals know where the birds are. And if someone from out of the area can figure out which end of which ridge I'm hearing birds then bring your gun and vest! I'll do the calling.  :z-guntootsmiley:

in sc. walked around most of saturday and didn't see that much sign overall. most of my usual spots were underwater for most of the fall, so hopefully they're holding turkeys this year. i put a couple more trail cams out saturday, will be interesting to see what's on them in a couple weeks. i also pulled one that i had out for a week, and had a couple decent pics. nice spurs!
