Sorry if this is addressed already, but at 1000 fps, what is the effective range of 20 ga longboards in #5 and #6?

I was going to ask the same question. I'm not one that thinks you need speed to kill but 1000 is a little slow makes me question the effectiveness of the 6's.

Effective to 40 yards. I know that for a fact.

Winchester says the 20ga load holds a better pattern at 50 and 60 yards than the 12ga load.
