I am setting up a Weatherby SA 459 12g.  Wanting to use the nitro ammo. They recommend a rhino choke.  Any one set one of these guns up. Wondering if this is the best chike for the gun and ammo set. Thanks Ryan

Primos jellyhead would work about as well and it'll save you some dollars.

Nitro has done a lot of testing of chokes/loads/gun combos. If your going to shoot there shells id go with a choke they recommend there's usually more than one option and the Jellyhead is one of them sometimes. There will be variations gun to gun but there numbers are pretty close.
If you make everything easy how do you know when your good at anything?

Imo they didn't test enough, my neighbor blew his choke out twice, and 2 friends had em swell so bad they stuck in pump guns

I have experienced over-pressure issues with nitro shells using the chokes they recommend. Found myself not wanting to run that ammo through a $1500 shotgun hoping it wouldn't come apart. The Hevi 13 7's patterned better and were cheaper and I didn't have to be concerned with tearing up my gun.

Use the ammo and choke they suggest and you should not have a problem.  I've been using their ammo since 2005 in 3 different shotguns using the Rhino choke with no problems.

Thanks for the info guys
